용광로

용광로는 강철 제작에 사용되는 심화 장치입니다. 철 광석, 숯, 플럭스를 뜨겁고 잘 조정된 환경에서 섞으면, 주철이나 연철보다 더 강한 금속을 만들 수 있습니다.

용광로를 만들려면 도가니와 다량의 연철 판이 필요합니다.

용광로 건설에는 도가니가 들어가며, 연철판 역시 필요합니다.

You will then need to construct the blast furnace, along with its Chimney. The chimney must be composed out of Reinforced Fire Bricks, as they are strong enough to withstand the intense heat. These can be crafted from fire brick blocks, and either wrought iron or steel sheets.

용광로

최소 높이의 굴뚝만을 가진 용광로.

The blast furnace's chimney can be up to five layers - each layer requiring eight Reinforced Fire Bricks to complete. Having more layers increases the total capacity of the blast furnace, allowing it to smelt more steel at once. Each chimney layer, up to a maximum of five, allows the blast furnace to hold four additional ore items.

용광로를 사용해서 강철을 생산하려면 굴뚝으로 아이템을 넣어야 합니다. 이때 철 광석과 플럭스는 같은 양이어야 합니다. 광석으로는 철광석이나 녹아서 주철이 되는 아이템을 모두 사용할 수 있습니다. 또한 용광로가 작동하는 데 사용되는 숯 역시 필요합니다.

용광로를 클릭하면 오른쪽에 보이는 바와 같이 용광로 인터페이스가 열립니다. 이 인터페이스에는 용광로의 광석 및 연료의 양이 표시됩니다. 오른쪽 위의 슬롯에는 용광로에 바람을 불어넣어 온도를 최대로 올리기 위해 송풍구가 있어야 합니다. 송풍구는 모루에서 만들 수 있습니다.

철을 녹이기 위한 최대 온도까지 높이기 위해서는 풀무 역시 필요합니다. 풀무는 용광로 주변 4 블록중 어느 곳에나 설치할 수 있습니다.

Finally, to get started, light the blast furnace with a Fire Starter, a Flint and Pyrite, or a Flint and Steel. It will begin to heat the ores inside. Make sure that the blast furnace continues to have fuel, and use the bellows to add air to the blast furnace after its internal temperature has reached the maximum for charcoal. After the ores inside heat up, they will melt and convert into Pig Iron.

이 액체 금속은 도가니와 같이 용광로 바로 아래의 액체 저장소로 들어갑니다. 선철을 주괴 금형으로 주조한 후에 강철로 단조할 수 있습니다.
