建造高炉

高炉是一种用来炼钢的高级设备。将铁矿石、木炭、和助焊剂在高热环境中混合就能制造出一种比锻铁更强的金属。

要搭建高炉，你必须先制作两只坩埚、一根锻铁鼓风口、和一个风箱。此外，你还会需要很多锻铁薄板和耐火砖块。

制作高炉方块本体就需要一只坩埚，以及八张锻铁薄板。

You will then need to construct the blast furnace, along with its Chimney. The chimney must be composed out of Reinforced Fire Bricks, as they are strong enough to withstand the intense heat. These can be crafted from fire brick blocks, and either wrought iron or steel sheets.

高炉

最基础的高炉结构。

The blast furnace's chimney can be up to five layers - each layer requiring eight Reinforced Fire Bricks to complete. Having more layers increases the total capacity of the blast furnace, allowing it to smelt more steel at once. Each chimney layer, up to a maximum of five, allows the blast furnace to hold four additional ore items.

必须从高炉的烟囱顶投入炼钢所需的素材。要炼钢，首先将等量的铁矿石和助焊剂投入高炉。铁矿石可以用任何能被熔化成铸铁的物品代替。另外，你还需要在高炉燃烧的过程中不断加入木炭来维持燃烧。

与高炉方块互动可以打开高炉界面，如右图所示。高炉界面会显示炉中的金属和燃料数量。屏幕右上角的空格必须放置一根鼓风口。有了鼓风口高炉才能达到可以炼钢的温度。可以在砧上锻造鼓风口。

要让高炉达到炼钢的温度，还需要在高炉方块的任意邻面放置一个风箱。

Finally, to get started, light the blast furnace with a Fire Starter, a Flint and Pyrite, or a Flint and Steel. It will begin to heat the ores inside. Make sure that the blast furnace continues to have fuel, and use the bellows to add air to the blast furnace after its internal temperature has reached the maximum for charcoal. After the ores inside heat up, they will melt and convert into Pig Iron.

熔融生铁会从高炉中流入任何直接放置在其下方的容器（如坩埚）中。之后可从坩埚界面将熔融生铁浇铸至铸锭模具中。你不能直接用生铁制作工具或装备，它还必须再经过一些其他工序处理之后才能使用。具体方法请参阅炼钢章节。
