Quern

The Quern is a device for grinding items. It can make powders, dyes, and some other items. It is assembled from a Base and Handstone.

The Quern can also be connected to a Mechanical Power network.

The base of the quern can be crafted with three smooth stone and three of any other Stone blocks.

Recipe: tfc:crafting/handstone

The quern needs a Handstone to operate.

Point at the top of the quern block and Right Click to place the handstone.

Use Right Click on the top of the handstone to add items.

Use Right Click the handle to spin the handstone.

The output should appear on the base of the quern. Right Click anywhere on the base to retrieve it.

The quern is used to make various Powders from ores, like Sulfur.

Recipe: tfc:quern/red_dye

Dye can be obtained from various flowers.

Recipe: tfc:quern/powder/emerald

Gems can also be ground into powder.

Recipe: tfc:quern/food/barley_flour

Flour is also obtainable from the quern.

Recipe: tfc:quern/powder/flux

Flux is also obtainable from the quern.
