Flint is a rare and valuable rock that can be found submerged in freshwater lakes.

This is the only way to obtain it, as it is no longer dropped by gravel.

Like stone, flint can be knapped into tool heads. Flint tools are slightly stronger than stone tools, but worse than copper ones.

Item: bsa:obsidian

Obsidian is another useful material from which to make tool heads. It can be found near volcanoes.

Obsidian tools mine faster and deal more damage than all other types of stone tools, but are also extremely fragile, with very low durability.

Precious gemstones can also be knapped into tool heads, but these tools are only as effective as standard stone tools.

These new tools can also have Tool Bindings and be crafted with Multitools.
