Wild Animals

The world of TFC is full of animal life. Some animals are here to help, and some are incredibly dangerous. This section is about wild animals. For information on livestock, animals that can give you items you need, see the Animal Husbandry page.

Animals can be grouped into a few different categories: Predators, Prey, and Aquatic animals.

Predators

Predators are animals that can attack the player. They are either Nocturnal, only hunting at night, or Diurnal, only hunting during the day. Predators can be neutral or hostile, depending on if they have killed a target recently. Predators have a home territory that they will defend - if you run far enough away, the predator will stop chasing and return home.

Black Bear

The black bear spawns in forests of warmer, wetter climates, of temperature 5 to 20°C and at least 250mm of rainfall.
